Meet the Sassy Girl
Hi, I'm Elizabeth from Northern Virginia just south of Washington, DC. I began this site to share all the many ways I'm learning to live a life of purpose, harmony and joy.
Like many people, I spent the first part of my life getting married, raising a family, and moving within the world, doing what was societally expected of me yet unfulfilled. I lived with depression, anxiety, and weight issues. I'd forgotten what it meant to care for myself while ensuring everyone thrived.
In 2019, during the pandemic, I had an epiphany and decided to improve my life through self-reflection and self-care. I was determined to learn to love myself so I could love those around me to the fullest. Join me on this journey.
